There have been many variations on the well-known carol ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’, but none quite like this! Join us for a unique Festive Window, created in the Fabrication Lab Robot Cell on Marylebone Road. You can see our robot from the street, creating a live movie based on 12, animated interpretations of the gifts from the song. Or see films of the installation and the different gifts below. The Competition for which was the best gift is now closed - see the winners below!

We hope you enjoy the window.

Merry Christmas!

by Harry Conway

Eleven pipers piping - 2nd Place (Judge's Prize) & 3rd Place (People's Prize)

by Molly Harper

Inspired by my little sister and her amazing achievements this year with her baking business despite covid I have used the 11 pipers piping to create a modern twist. The scene is a Winter's theme set in a forest with 10 little mice making and recreating the snow and building a ginger bread house at the end of the scene, with the door open to peer within in the end of the scene sees one little mouse finishing of a cake inside the house.

Twelve drummers drumming - 1st Place (Judge's Prize)

by Westminster Academy, Year 12

As the song builds, so does the collection of gifts. By the end of the song and the twelve drummers drumming, you'll find all the gifts together, hidden in the Christmas Tree! All watercolour paintings by Year 12 and Ann O'Brien.
