Teaching quick digital fabrication techniques to sixth-form students from the Camden School for Girls, the Fabrication Lab shared knowledge in outreach with a local London school in this one-day workshop. The participants got to tour the lab and see the different making approaches that are possible, and learnt introductory skills in Rhino, in order to design and laser cut a series of components for clock-face or keychain. Illustrating the accessibility and potential of digital fabrication tools, the aim of this programme was to inspire and encourage young students to consider further studies in design.
