Master's Banquet '18

In the first annual Master’s Banquet workshop students presented a great diversity of projects exploring different digital and analogue craft techniques learnt and developed over just a week in the Lab as part of the Digital Design Module. Students entering the Masters of Architecture RIBA Part II programme have the opportunity to complete all of the Lab Essentials courses at the start of the year and experiment through making a piece for the banquet table upon one of the themes from: surface (‘tablecloth’), container (‘crockery’), instrument (‘cutlery’), vessel (‘glassware’), focal point (‘centrepiece’) and light (‘chandelier’).

Prizes were awarded for the outstanding and notable works, presented by the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Peter Bonfield, Dean of the School of Architecture Professor Harry Charrington and Director of the Fabrication Lab Dr. David Scott.
