This workshop was hosted in the Fabrication Lab by Finnish interior architect and designer Samuli Naamanka focussing on steam bending timber for furniture scale interventions. Teaching BA Interior Architecture students with hands-on experimentation and designing at 1:1, the tutors built a steam bending apparatus to work with Ash wood for the students’ final outcomes.
