The building works as a dynamic object, changing its function and character based on the event. During a music festival, the mobile panels open, creating a bold background and directing the sound, while during off-season they are closed, transforming the building into a hill perfect for picnics. I wanted a capture a view of the project during this off-season.
I wanted a painterly aesthetic to give it an atmosphere of idyllic leasure, which is why I chose to work with photoshop. I started with the structure as a 3D asset in Rhino. I set a view and then exported each asset individually.
I then took into Adobe Illustrator edited the line width, separated the layers and areas and exported to photoshop.
In photoshop I used various painting tools and filters, working on building up the layers as I went.

Is it a crisis the younger members of society are reconsidering their rights to parenthood or finding a more appealing lifestyle through pet-owning?
After modeling my assets in Rhino. I rendered them in Twinmotion. I used Da Vinci Resolve to edit the work together and colour grade it.

My proposal takes the facility I had already designed for semester one as the site for semester two. I set the Cosmists the task of imagining what happens when Konstantin Tsiolkovsky’s theorems of matter are interfaced with the concept of collective swarm behaviour (the Cosmists studied the swarm movement and behaviour of ants building a body raft to survive in water).
I used Rhino and its Block Instances function to create my modular 'raft' design. It allowed me to change one module and have all the others update. This enabled me to make small adjustments very quickly. The site below was taken from Digimaps.
