Harnessing the potential for new partnerships with large companies in the construction sector, the Fabrication Lab hosted an event to explore the future of a new university centre for technology in architecture, engineering and construction. The Fab Lab showcased these emergent technologies and practices such as full site 3D scanning, projection mapping design information, augmented reality overlays and virtual reality visualisations, as well as advanced CNC and robotic manufacture, in the context of the proposed site for this new centre - the 39 Marylebone road building.
