BRIEF:

Kinetic Climate will introduce you to architectural and environmental design concepts revealing the relationship between buildings and climate change.
You will work with tutors through the week-long workshop to speculate, iterate and build reactive and kinetic sculptures that conveyed changing interior environmental conditions and the associated energy use from regulating internal building conditions.We’ll teach you the digital and fabrication skills you need to design and make a creative, Internet of Things powered kinetic sculpture to reflect on what you have learned and share it with others.
We’ll find a site within the Lab for each of your sculptures, and they will be entered for a competition and exhibition that opens to the public on June 20th.
